With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, helping them navigate a wide range of psychological challenges. My work has taken me across different settings—from clinical and forensic environments to academic and research roles—giving me a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health, personality, and well-being.

A big part of what I do is carry out comprehensive psychological assessments, which help understand personality, risk, cognitive functioning, and overall mental health. These assessments can be incredibly useful in different situations, whether someone is looking for clarity about their experiences, needs professional guidance, or requires expert input in legal or formal settings. Alongside assessments, I offer tailored therapy and support, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed interventions. I believe that psychological support should always be shaped around the individual, ensuring that it is relevant, effective, and meaningful for them.

Alongside my independent practice, I’m also a Senior Lecturer at a leading university, where I teach, research, and contribute to the field of psychology. I regularly publish research and present at professional conferences, ensuring my work is always informed by the latest evidence and best practices. Staying at the forefront of psychological advancements is important because it means I can provide the most effective support to those I work with.

In addition to my academic and clinical responsibilities, I am deeply committed to supporting the well-being and resilience of other professionals, particularly Trainee Psychologists. Through my supervision and mentorship, I aim to provide a safe, reflective space where individuals can explore challenges, build emotional resilience, and develop coping strategies for the demands of their roles. I take pride in helping professionals gain confidence in their abilities, cultivate a sense of self-efficacy, and foster emotional well-being, which is essential for personal growth and sustained professional success. My approach prioritizes their holistic development, enabling them to navigate the complexities of their work while maintaining their mental and emotional health, ultimately empowering them to be more effective in their practice.
While my qualifications and experience provide a strong foundation, I believe what matters is creating a space where people feel safe, heard, and understood. Everyone’s journey is unique, and my approach is always collaborative—we work together to explore challenges, develop understanding, and find ways forward that feel right for you.

If you’re looking for psychological support through assessment, therapy, or expert advice, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to create a future that feels more fulfilling, balanced, and aligned with your goals.
